Accurate Neuromonitoring held its Southeast Convention this year at the Omni Hotel at the Battery in Atlanta, Georgia October 19th-21st. With all Southeast employees in attendance, the full day of activities was both productive and informative. As part of the clinical staff’s five hours of continuing education, Dr. Chris Payne, a neurosurgical resident from Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA gave an interesting presentation, and several employees did as well. Among the presentations were multiple case studies, and in-depth discussions regarding a variety of critical IONM topics. Evening activities included a cocktail reception, followed by dinner.
During dinner, our executive team gave a State of the Company presentation that reviewed the past year’s successes and accomplishments, and outlined future goals and objectives. Proud accomplishments that were highlighted included Accurate Neuromonitoring’s 23% organic growth rate over the past year, our projection to monitor more than 12,000 surgeries by the end of 2018, and our 17 new CNIMs since the last convention.
After dinner, employees were free to enjoy the plentiful amenities in the Battery, which, since it is right next to the Atlanta Braves baseball stadium, includes a 2-block promenade full of restaurants, bars and shopping. All enjoyed a fun and productive convention!
