Celebrating Ten Years of Quality Service and Patient Care,
Company Reviews Past Achievements and Plans for Future Growth and Success
Accurate Neuromonitoring held its first annual convention at Crystal Springs Resort in Hamburg, New Jersey, from April 21-23, 2017. We designed our lively and informative inaugural convention, attended by all employees and their families, to celebrate ten years of quality service and patient care, as well as to review past achievements and plan for future growth and success.
The weekend kicked off with a Friday night working dinner, where team leaders took part in a leadership tactics workshop run by Fred Pryor Seminars. Saturday consisted of a full day of continuing education, with office staff taking part in teambuilding exercises, and clinical staff attending workshops led by both physicians and company leadership. Topics covered included Common Pitfalls in IONM; Anesthesia — a Day in the Life; Brain Tumors and Cortical Mapping; and Mechanisms of Injury in Spinal Fusion. The day concluded with dinner and an executive presentation that focused on past performance and our goals for the future. Being transparent and inclusive in this manner has allowed us to build an amazing team of loyal employees who are totally committed to patient care and customer service.
During the presentation, we recognized ten employees for their loyalty — ranging from 5 to 10 years of service. We then shifted focus to place particular emphasis on the tremendous growth and achievements of the past two years, including the addition of many new clients and staff, the CNIM certification of almost 20 technologists, and our acquisition of NeuroLink Monitoring, which has expanded our geographical footprint to seven states along the East Coast from New York to Florida. At present, Accurate Neuromonitoring’s staff of nearly 100 employees supports over 10,000 surgeries and more than 400 surgeons a year, making us one of the most prominent IONM providers in the nation. We laid out goals and objectives for the future, and the important role that each and every employee plays in the success of the company was emphasized. On Sunday, we provided all employees with free time to enjoy the amenities of the resort.
Judging by the overwhelmingly positive feedback received, the entire weekend was a huge success. Going forward, we’re eager to make the convention an annual event, and are considering opening future conventions to the profession for continuing education credit.
